Visual Recognition
With a connected camera, Skipper can recognize familiar objects that have previously been added to its visual knowledge.

Connect physical objects with locally stored knowledge.
A user can show Skipper an item and ask what it is, request information about it, or retrieve related instructions and notes.
Recognized objects can be connected with descriptions, maintenance information, manuals, procedures, or other relevant knowledge stored within the system.

This can be useful for equipment, tools, components, supplies, safety items, and other objects that may be difficult to identify by name alone.
Visual recognition does not attempt to understand everything visible in an entire scene. It is designed to identify known items and find the closest relevant match within Skipper’s prepared visual collection.
